OUR BACKGROUND
Joe and Pam Shortino established Shortino & Associates, LLC in 1985 in Dallas, Texas. Our Agency was started and concentrated on small businesses marketing Group Occupational Accident Coverage, Group and Individual Health Insurance Coverage, Dental Plans, and Life Insurance. We became associated with the Towing Industry in 1987 and have worked with the Industry Statewide.
 
Over the past many years we have concentrated most of our efforts in the Towing and Recovery Industry working with both Southwest Tow Operators and the Texas Towing & Storage Associations.
 
Shortino's reputation for knowledge in the area of On The Job Accident Coverage has been our specialty with the Towing Industry to protect employers whose employees are hurt on the job. We believe in providing the highest quality of service to our customers
and are proud of the fact we have had clients who have been insured with our insurance products for over 20 years.

We are again extremely excited to offer you our NEW OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENT PLAN with EMPLOYER INDEMNITY COVERAGE. This is an Association Plan for Towing Operators with 2 to 50 employees.
 
Highlights of our Plan:
• $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit per
   person per occurrence
• Choice of $1000, $2500 or $5000
   Deductible with Benefit Periods of 117 or 156 Weeks
• Occupational Accident Benefits that cover
   employees hurt on the job (Accident Medical Benefits, Weekly
   Disability Benefits, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefits)
• Occupational Disease/Cumulative Trauma Coverage and Waiver of
   Subrogation included
• Employer Indemnity Coverage that Covers:
       a. Amounts Paid to settle a claim for workplace negligence
           brought by a covered employee as a result of a covered injury.
       b. Amounts Paid to satisfy a judgment for an employer
           indemnity claim.
       c. Defense Costs and Expenses related to an employer indemnity
           claim.
       d. Defense Costs are paid in addition to the $1,000,000 CSL Policy
           with no maximum.
